“The Economics of Carbon Pricing”
“How Citizens Can Drive the Transition to Clean, Renewable Fuels”
Joseph Robinson
Villanova University
Whenever legislation to price carbon starts to gain traction, the fossil fuel industry trots out this talking point: “It will kill jobs and ruin the economy.” Citizens Climate Lobby member Joseph Robertson ties together numerous reports and case studies to present a very different picture, one in which the transition to clean energy will produce new jobs and provide a stimulus to the economy.
Joe will discuss the Citizens Climate Lobby, and how they are working to bring these policies to Capitol Hill to build a bipartisan coalition of support for responsible climate and energy policy; and how you can help.
